Theme: 7th Anal Half Baked Yeast Infection Down Under
Date: Thursday, April 23rd
Bring: $1,200 ($2,400 for married couples earning less than $150,00), beer, sense of adventure, kush, Anzac Day pride, gamesmanship.
Time: The trail portion of the hash will be open around 9:00am Thursday morning. Please limit your party to 3 or less people and post your start time in the FB thread to avoid overlap with other groups. If you want to win the competition, you’ll probably knead to participate in this portion. Points are being earned and you are being judged. You need to be finished with trail by 6:30pm or so if you also want to join on in the Zoom Room fun that will start at 7:00pm. Points towards the competition will also be awarded here.
What you are competing for: Bread. What’s Warm will give you bread. Some stores can’t keep this stuff on the shelves, so here’s your chances to win some. 1st Place – 3 loaves. 2nd Place – 2 loaves. 3rd Place – 1 loaf. Points will be awarded for completing trail and for doing well in the Zoom challenges. More details on the specifics at the FB live chalk talk on Thursday morning. But basically, if you want to win some free bread, you’ll knead to be involved in both parts of the trail.
Start Address: Trail start will be very near the City Park Volunteer Center (1031 Harrison Ave. Nola). Zoom start is wherever you’re at so long as you’re dressed in your finest hash themed attire.
Hares: What’s Warm? & Q.E. Oui Oui
Pre-lube: Thinking about getting the Zoom Room started earlier in the day for some day drinking if the demand is there. We can also burn some bowls, check in and out of trail, maybe Warm will do a bread demonstration, and QE might even play us some trumpet. Who knows? Keep an out out for the upcoming Zoom Room link. All of the non-“actual trail” stuff will be happening there.
On After: The Zoom Room, mate.
Dog Friendly? Woof.
If you’re doing the physical trail, you may need a dry bag and you’ll definitely want shiggy socks.
True trail length: Approx. 2.5 miles
Trail is A to A
