The NOPD and your driving

I touched on this in the beginning of circle last night, and would like to re-iterate for those who may not have been present. A friend of mine was pulled over for speeding last week, and ended up spending the night in jail because he’d been drinking. I’d hate for that to happen to a hasher, so some quick notes: 1) Observe the damn laws. Buckle up, use your turn signal and headlights, don’t speed. 2) If you can, get a ride. TOOOOOOGA! TOOOOOOGA!

Ahh yes, the Toga Party. Who doesn’t love a social function where you grab your bedsheet and literally roll out of bed, dressed appropriately? If you have nothing to do tomorrow (or even if you do have something to do), roll outta bed and head to Gretna where Slam Bam Thank You Lamb is hosting the party. When: August 20th, … Continue ReadingVooDoo #95 – Hashing in the Rain

About 6 or 7 of them, all using NOST (New Orleans Substandard Time)! I know that we’re usually a little late to start in general, but 7:00 rolled around and we had amassed a group of about 50 soon-to-be drunkards. The only problem was that we had no hares. They finally showed up, but much to my chagrin, they had no beer hare. Poor, poor Pastor. Well, I … Continue ReadingNew Boots, New Names, Same Old VooDoo
