So, if you’ve got a bunch of boring shirts, hoodies, etc. that you want to swankify with the Voodoo logo, gather ‘em up and bring them to me at the hash, starting this week. For a fee of $5, you can have the Voodoo Hash logo screened on as many pieces of clothing as you wish. Yes, you need to pay when you give me your shirts. I can’t guarantee that I will have change for you, so don’t expect me to break a $20.

When you do bring your shirts, please do me a favor, and put a piece of tape on the side (front or back) that you want to have screened. For the time being, we’re going to go with BLACK ink on light colored shirts, or WHITE ink on dark colored shirts. Once I figure out how cost-effective the printing is, I’m hoping to offer multi-color designs for the same low price.

Since the new art hasn’t been finalized yet, the first printing will be the original logo that’s on all our existing haberdashery.

One thing I noticed is Voodoo doesn’t have a walking trail, but multiple over achievers showed up in walking cast. Apparently, one too many people are strapping themselves into the sex swing wrong. Proper use will be demonstrated at Interhash next week, at the Best Western! Before I start with the calendar I wanted to send out congratulations to our newest named hashers, Fist and Release, and Mexican Gum Job.

Happi coats are a Japanese tradition– a summertime version of the kimono, originally printed with a family crest on the back, and primarily worn to festivals. They are a great way to represent your hash “family” when you travel to our own unique “festivals”. (InterAm, anyone…?)

This week’s hash not only marks the 2 year anniversary of my virgin hash, but it is also my LAST HASH with the Voodoo. That’s right 2 short years ago Tempur-Penis convinced me to come run with his little “running group”. The theme was “Clue”, it was a scavenger hunt through the ruins of Gentilly, running through shaggy, abandoned buildings, jumping over fences into empty overgrown lots. I got lost in city park on my virgin hash but I was in good company with Pastor Bait Her, Tempur-penis and a couple others I don’t remember. I survived and did not need emergency medical services, however one hasher did – Just Tara, who after slicing her leg open on a neglected fence became forever known as Bloody Hole. Then there was the beer and the circle, I was hooked. The rest is history and I kept cumming and cumming …

Sadly, I will be leaving New Orleans and my beloved home hash for the beaches and sunshine of south Florida. Crash House Harriers welcome!

There are two other Voodoo hashers that will be leaving us as well this week. PS Knave is headed to Italy and Everything Butt Sex is going the farthest by far (insert sarcasm font) …. all the way to the northshore!
